I love clean minimal design and this is a good example of the type of website that I most love to create. This website, created for a South West London based Cinematographer largely features video and is designed in a way that is easy for the user to navigate. It has a responsive design meaning it adapts to mobile, tablet and desktop devices.
Here are some examples of my web designs. I gravitate towards the minimal look without adding unnecessary clutter and enjoy finding the best way of presenting the information that is required to make it look great at the same time as making it easy for the site visitor to find what they're looking for quickly.
I immensely enjoyed designing and developing this website which is for an artist based locally in Wimbledon. I created a bespoke minimal theme so that his beautiful colourful paintings really shone out. This website includes an image gallery to show off his stunning work at a size they can be appreciated. It is a mobile-responsive website, working perfectly on mobile, tablet and desktop devices.
Philippe Honoré is a French classical violinist who is based in London. Two of the main elements Philippe's website needed to have were audio and video functionality so that site visitors could listen to his music and watch videos of performances he has played in. It also needed to display photographs so that the press could easily download if required.
This is a responsive website built in the Drupal CMS. Photography is by top London photographer, Julian Hanford (julianhanford.com).
Tim Woolcock, a local artist from Wandsworth, approached me to create a website with a view to showcasing his abstract paintings. With a national and international client base, it was essential for him to have a website where he could direct these clients so they could easily see his recent work and what was available to purchase.
Tim didn't want a white website but one with a darker backdrop. I used one of his own paintings as the backdrop behind a green and grey overlay so that it was fairly subtle but gave personality and didn't overpower his paintings.
This website includes a slideshow where the images can be viewed at a size where they can be appreciated and he also has the ability to easily mark them as sold which then displays a red dot as they do in the art galleries.
This website was designed for a SW London client who offers coaching services. Built in the Drupal CMS, it is mobile-responsive and designed to be user-friendly for both the site visitor and for my client when she needs to make any edits. It is designed with a clean minimal layout.
Designed to have impact but with a simple and minimal feel, this London photographer's website is built in the Drupal content management system and is responsive, adapting to all screen sizes, with full screen image galleries.
The Carpenter Holidays website was developed for a local client in South London. Again, this mobile-friendly website has a very clean and minimal feel to it and was built it in the Drupal CMS.
The villaflorabella.com website was created for another South London client who needed to showcase her villa in the Algarve. I kept it very simple and clean with a slideshow at the top of most pages to give the site visitor plenty of great visuals.
It includes a gallery page where the thumbnails open up to a full screen gallery and a blog for news updates.
Marc has been a client of mine for a number of years and his site was looking rather dated. His original website was created in plain html which meant he couldn't make any changes himself.
I re-built the website in the Drupal CMS with a more contemporary look which is mobile-friendly and easy to navigate plus allows for him to log in and make any necessary changes to the text as and when he needs to.
I first designed a website for Nottingham Cakes several years ago. It needed updating so that it worked on mobile and other device sizes and also required being re-built within a CMS with a fresh, more modern design.
The new website is built in Drupal with a user-friendly admin section to make it easy for my client ot upload photographs of her cakes and update the text when she needs to.
This bespoke website was designed for a London publicist. It has been built within the Drupal CMS with a clean and minimal design and is mobile-friendly.
Sing in French needed a fun design that needed to appeal to both children and their parents and teachers. We used the traditional French colours to give it personality but also created a very "user-friendly" website, built in the Drupal CMS.
It includes video and also a newsletter sign-up feature which means the client can create emails and send them from within the website.
The website is responsive so adapts to all screen sizes from mobile to desktop.
Inspired Personal Styling was designed and developed for a local client in Wimbledon. As it was for a stylist, we gave the website a feminine design using the gold colour for a hint of luxury. It was developed in the Drupal CMS.
This was a bespoke website re-design and re-build for an existing client in Worcester Park, Surrey who previously had a non-mobile-friendly website which was also not a CMS. The new version was built in Drupal and is fully responsive so that their clients can easily navigate the site on a mobile phone.
It was important that their potential customers could contact them easily, see that they operate a "no call out charge" service and that the services on offer were clear and easy to find.
As it is a family business, I've tried to make it look friendly and approachable and without unnecessary clutter.
Developed for a London pensions company, this professional mobile-friendly website included logo design, video and a blog. It was built within the Drupal content management system.
Developed for a London-based therapist, the brief was for a simple design. With fairly straight-forward content, this Drupal website is minimal, user-friendly and also adapts to mobile, tablet and desktop screen sizes.
